1STANDBY/ON Button turns recorder on/off (loading a cassette also turns power on).

2TIMER Button engages timer standby mode. ☞ pg. 13, 15

3SPATIALIZER Button enables/disables Spatializer®. ☞ pg. 25

4Cassette Loading Slot is where cassette is inserted; door closes, "cassette loaded" indicator lights up on front display panel.

5PLAY Button plays back tape ☞ pg. 8; cancels Pause, Still, Slow, Search modes. ☞ pg. 9

6TV PROG Dial scans to desired preset position during Stop mode. ☞ pg. 10
