Basic Playback

The VD-4502 can play back MP3/WMA/JPEG files recorded on CD-R or CD-RW.

Playing Back MP3/WMA/JPEG

A certain amount of time is required for the player to confirm the media on which MP3/WMA/JPEG files have been recorded before playback will commence.

Playback

Press PLAY

For JPEG discs:

Slide show starts. Press STOP to display the NAVI screen. Thumbnails may be displayed depending on the type of disc that is set.

Rotating a Picture (JPEG Files Only)

It is possible to rotating a picture.

During JPEG file playback, press on the remote controller.

Switching as shown below is done when the cursor buttons are pressed.

button: 90o rotation in clockwise direction

button: 90o rotation in counterclockwise direction

button: Vertical mirror image button: Horizontal mirror image

Various Play Modes

1During stop mode, press REPEAT on the remote controller to select the play mode.

Each press switches the play mode.

FOLDER

Playback the folder that is selected.

REPEAT ONE

Repeat the file that is selected.

FOLDER REPEAT

Repeat the folder that is selected.

DISC

Playback all files on the disc.

DISC REPEAT

Repeat all files on the disc.

2Press on the remote controller to select the desired file or folder, then press ENTER to start playback.

When JPEG files are displayed, the display is switched automatically from one file to the next.

The switching speed differs according to the file size.

3To stop playback, press STOP .

Note

When the play mode is FOLDER, FOLDER REPEAT, skipping to outside the folder being played by using buttons is not possible.
