Battery life includes the time during the low battery alarm (INOP “Recharge Batteries”) until the unit shuts off.

We recommend you use 2 fully charged batteries to get the optimum battery life when using the battery power supply.

Note—Charging time is 4 hours to 90% of full capacity if the monitor is off. 16 hours to 90% of full capacity if the monitor is on.

Note—When AC is connected and the monitor is on, the Battery Charge LEDs may take some time to cycle to the appropriate charge indication and may underreport battery capacity during this setting period. Use the fuel gauge rather than the Battery Charge LEDs during this period to estimate battery capacity or turn the monitor off to accelerate the charge setting time.
