Performance Assurance Checks

Auto Check - The NBP module performs a check periodically during operation.

Self-Test - None

Auto Check - None

Self-Test - The SpO2/Pleth module self-test may be performed at any time. The integral waveform generator in the module produces test signals using the current driver at the beginning of the processing circuitry. The test signals are processed in the same way as patient signals are processed. The test signals last about 30 seconds and then the display returns to the normal monitoring mode.
