Changing the Patient Category

These safety values effect the measurement range of each category. The Adult category has the greatest range (systolic 30 to 270 mmHg) and the Neonate has the smallest (systolic 30 to 130 mmHg). Therefore you

cannot use Neonate or Pediatric if the expected pressure values are outside the measurement range for that category.

The following tables list the measurement ranges and safety values for each patient category.
