Performing and Reviewing Calculations

If you enter a value that has more decimal places than allowed for a particular input, the value you enter will be rounded off after you press

Confirm . Numbers 1 to 4 will round the value down and numbers 5 to 9

will round the value up. For example, if you enter 6.55 as an input for a value where only one decimal place is allowed, 6.6 will be the value used in the calculation and displayed. If you enter 6.54, 6.5 will be used in the calculation and displayed.

If you enter a value which cannot be stored, the message Parameter value input range X: “Y OUT OF RANGE” will appear. The value for X will be either the upper limit (if the value entered is greater than the upper limit) or the lower limit (if the value entered is less than the lower limit). Y is the value you entered. Enter a new value.

Reviewing The Hemodynamics, Ventilation, and Oxygenation Review displays enable Calculations you to review all calculations made in these groups within the last 24

hours (48 hours if a memory extension is purchased and configured).

Calculated parameter values (both indexed and non-indexed) are presented with the values used to calculate them. The calculation times are indicated along the top of the display. The normal ranges for the parameters can also be shown.
