Battery Indicator and Messages

The battery fuel gauge, located on the lower right of the display, indicates the remaining capacity of the batteries in a bar graph form. As power discharges from the batteries, the number of segments within the battery fuel gauge will decrease. (When you first switch to battery power, the message “Battery Measurement in Progress” will be displayed for up to 2 minutes before being replaced by the battery fuel gauge.)

The rate at which the batteries discharge is dependent on the power load or the number of modules and type being used.

***appears on the display instead of the battery symbol graphics when a battery is unplugged or removed.

If you are running the monitor by the batteries, the two lead-sealed batteries are indicated in the lower right of the display by battery symbol graphics.

Note—Battery #1 is the battery on the right when looking at the back of the monitor. This battery corresponds to the #1 battery symbol graphic on the display screen.
