TV channel programming

Although the DVD recorder selects available TV channels during first installation, you may want to repeat the process later if more channels become available in your area or if you are reinstalling the DVD recorder.

Automatic TV channel search

This will erase and replace all previously stored TV channels.

1Press SYSTEM-MENUon the remote

control.

➜ The system menu appears on the TV.

2Press 4 repeatedly to select { Set-up .}

3Press 2 repeatedly to select { Analog Ch. }

4Press 4 to select { Auto channel } and press 2 to confirm.

➜The automatic TV channel search starts. This allows the DVD recorder to save all available TV channels.

➜This process may take several minutes. Once complete, the total number of channels found appears on the TV.

Setting favorite TV channels

You can set your favorite TV channels for quick access by using the channel up/ down button on the remote control.

1Press SYSTEM-MENU.

➜ The system menu appears on the TV.

2Press 4 repeatedly to select { Set-up .}

3Press 2 repeatedly to select { Analog Ch.}

4Press 4 repeatedly to select { Add/del.

Ch. } and press 2 to confirm.

➜ A list of TV channel programs appears.

	1 C001
Add/del Ch	2 C002	NBC
	3 C003
	4 C004
	5 C005
	6 C006	MTV
	7 C007

5Press 3 4 to select the TV channel, then press OK to choose delete from or add to the list.

➜The ‘add’ channels are ‘marked,’ you can access these channels by pressing 3 4 on the remote control.

➜The ‘delete’ channels are ‘unmarked,’ you can only access these channels by pressing the corresponding number button on the remote control.

TIPS: Press 1 to go back to previous menu item. Press SYSTEM-MENUto exit the menu.
