
29. Wire Distance Chart
To meet NEC compliance (North America), the largest PV array that can be connected to the FLEXmax 80 must have a rated
1.5% maximum voltage drop. Temperature and conduit fill corrections may be required. Using a higher voltage PV array with a low voltage battery system allows you to use a much smaller wire size or go up to 5 times as far with the same gauge wire.
(The figures below assumes 2 conductor copper wire and allows for a 1.5% voltage drop)
