Connecting an S-Video device

Note

The AV IN S-VIDEO jack and the AV IN VIDEO jack share the same audio jacks. You cannot connect both types of devices at the same time.

Connecting a camcorder or game console

Note

The AV IN VIDEO jack and the AV IN S-VIDEO jack share the same audio jacks. You cannot connect both types of devices at the same time.

To connect an S-Video device:

1Make sure that your TV’s power cord is unplugged and the S-Video device is turned off.

2Connect an S-Video cable (not included) to the AV IN S-VIDEOjack on the back of your TV and the S-VIDEO OUT jack on the S-Video device.

3Connect an audio cable (not included) to the AV IN L/R audio jacks on the back of your TV and to the AV OUT audio jacks on the S-Video device.

4Turn on your TV, then turn on the S-Video device.

5Press INPUT to open the Source List.

6Press or to highlight AV, then press OK/ENTER.

To connect a camcorder or game console:

1Make sure that your TV’s power cord is unplugged and the camcorder or game console is turned off.

2Connect the video connector on a composite cable (not included) to the AV IN VIDEO jack on the back of your TV and the VIDEO OUT jack on the camcorder or game console.

Cables are often color-coded to match color-coded jacks. Connect yellow to yellow, red to red, and white to white.

Camcorder or game console

3Connect the left and right audio connectors on the composite cable to the AV IN L/R audio jacks on the back of your TV and to the AUDIO OUT jacks on the camcorder or game console.

4Turn on your TV, then turn on the camcorder or game console.

5Press INPUT to open the Source List.

6Press or to highlight AV, then press OK/ENTER.

Note

To turn Game Mode on or off, press GAME.
