B.4 IXFP/SnapShot Setup Job Streams

For the verification of IXFP/SnapShot for VSE/ESA, two RVA disks were made available. In this section we present the job streams used to allocate and create the test data. We used the following job stream to release the space on the RVA and write the VTOCs to the disks:

//JOB INITDISK DVCDN X′80E′

//EXEC DTRIATTN,PARM=′ IXFP DDSR,80E′ DVCDN X′80F′

//EXEC DTRIATTN,PARM=′ IXFP DDSR,80F′

//LOG

* WAIT UNTIL IXFP/SNAPSHOT HAS RELEASED THE SPACE BEFORE CONTINUING

//EXEC IESWAIT

DVCUP X′80E′

DVCUP X′80F′

//ASSGN SYS004,80E,SHR

//EXEC ICKDSF,SIZE=AUTO
