STP Operation continued

Slug Removal

SINGLE CYCLE

The STP can be used to remove the slug without applying heat to the blades, if the insulation has already been severed. This is accomplished by pressing “0” when the unit is in the “READY MODE”. The next cycle will run with zero heat and act only as a slug removal machine. When this cycle is completed, the STP returns to the previous settings.

When the heat value is set to “0” percent the unit will perform the slug removal cycle when activated. The unit remains in this mode until a non zero heat value is selected.
