Sleep Timer
The sleep timer allows you to set an amount of time you want to give before the TV/VCR shuts itself off. Each press of the SLEEP button will count down 10 minutes on the clock, starting at 120 minutes. After the sleep timer is set, the screen will display the time every ten minutes to remind you the sleep timer is operating. To display the sleep timer momentarily, press SLEEP and the remaining time will be shown. To cancel the sleep timer, press SLEEP repeatedly until the display turns to 0.

To use closed captioning, press the CAPTION button on the remote. Press once to view Caption Channel 1, twice to view Caption Channel 2, and again to view Full Screen Text.
Caption Channel 1 Displays the full translation of the primary language in your area.
Caption Channel 2 May be used as a second source for secondary languages.
