SET UP FOR USE

SELECTING THE LANGUAGE

TV/VCR

1Plug in the TV/VCR/DVD power cord

Plug the TV/VCR/DVD power cord into a

standard AC outlet.

NOTE:

•If some digits appear in the corner of

the screen, press the POWER button without unplugging the power cord.

Make sure ...

•Press select button to select TV/ VCR mode, or make sure TV/ VCR lights on.

•Press the POWER button to turn on the TV/VCR/DVD. NOTE: This function effects only the language on the screen menu and not the audio source.

	CHANNEL SET UP
Press the Arrow button K or L to	V-CHIP SET UP
	CAPTION [OFF]
	B LANGUAGE [ENGLISH]
point to “LANGUAGE”.	ZERO RETURN
	TIME SEARCH

3Select “ENGLISH”, “ESPAÑOL” or “FRANÇAIS”

Select “ENGLISH”, “ESPAÑOL”= Spanish or “FRANÇAIS”= French using the ENTER button.

4Exit the Language mode

Press the SETUP button on the remote control to return to TV mode.

NOTE: If for some reason the menu is in Spanish or French, press the SETUP button on the remote con- trol, press the Arrow button K or L to point to “IDIOMA [ESPAÑOL]” or “LANGAGE [FRANÇAIS]”, then press the ENTER button, then press the SETUP button on the remote control.

CLOCK SET UP

(AUTO / MANUAL)

TV/VCR

The TV/VCR/DVD clock must be set correctly before VCR timer recording is possible. It is suggested that the clock be set manually when first setting up the TV/VCR/DVD. Then, set to [ON] the auto clock set- ting which will periodically correct the setting if nec- essary.

NOTE: If you cannot receive a station with time signals, auto clock setting cannot be performed. Use manual setting only.

MANUAL CLOCK SETTING

Make sure ...

•The TV/VCR/DVD is turned on.

In the example below, the clock is to be set to:

1 Select “SETTING CLOCK”
Press the SETUP button on the		– M E N U –
		TIMER PROGRAMMING
remote control.
		B SETTING CLOCK
		PICTURE CONTROL
Press the Arrow button K or L to		CHANNEL SET UP
		V-CHIP SET UP
		USER’S SET UP
point to “SETTING CLOCK”.		LANGUAGE [ENGLISH]
		ZERO RETURN
		CAPTION [OFF]

Then, press the ENTER button. TIME SEARCH

2Select “MANUAL CLOCK SET”

Press the Arrow button K or L to	– SETTING CLOCK –
point to “MANUAL CLOCK	AUTO CLOCK	[ON]
SET”.	AUTO CLOCK CH SEARCH
	B MANUAL CLOCK SET
	AUTO CLOCK CH	[ 02 ]
Then, press the ENTER button.	D.S.T.	[OFF]
3 Select the month
Press the Arrow button K or L	– MANUAL CLOCK SET –
until your desired month appears.
	MONTH DAY	YEAR

(Example: May → 05)

Then, press the Arrow button B. (Or press the Arrow button s to go back one step.)

4Select the day

Press the Arrow button K or L until your desired day appears.
