Manual clock setting	MENU
You must set the date and time manually for timer recordings,	ENTER
ON/OFF timer and daylight saving time if the auto clock
process did not set them correctly.

EXAMPLE: Setting the clock to “8:30 AM”, 27th. (SAT)

March, 2004.

1 Press MENU, then press or to select option.

		CLOCK SET
		ON/OFF TIMER
MENU		AUTO CLOCK	ON
	ENTER	STANDARD TIME
		DAYLIGHT
SETUP		SAVING TIME
		/ / / / MENU

2 Press or to select “CLOCK SET”, then press .

	CLOCK SET
	ON/OFF TIMER
	AUTO CLOCK	ON
ENTER	STANDARD TIME
	DAYLIGHT
	SAVING TIME
	/ / / MENU

3 Press or to set the month, then press .

CLOCK SET
	MONTH	3
	DAY	1(MON)
ENTER	YEAR	2004
	TIME	12:00AM
/	/ / / ENTER/MENU

Set the day, year and time as in step 4, then

4 press ENTER.

Basic setup

CLOCK SET
	MONTH	3
	DAY	27(SAT)
ENTER	YEAR	2004
	TIME	8:30AM
/	/ / / ENTER/MENU

5 After setting the clock, date and time starts functioning automatically.

To make corrections any time during the process

Press or repeatedly until the item you want to change blinks, then set the item again.

Notes:

•After a power failure or disconnection of the power, the timer settings will be lost. In this case, reset the present time.

•When you set the minute, you can change in 10-minutes step by holding down or .
