Adjusting the channel settings

Switching between two channels

You can switch between two channels without entering an actual channel number each time.

To switch between two channels:

1.Select the first channel you want to view.

2.Select a second channel using the Channel Numbers (0–9, 100).

3.Press CH RTN. The previous channel will display.

Each time you press CH RTN, the TV will switch back and forth between the last two channels you tuned the TV to.

Programming your favorite channels

The favorite channel feature allows you to use the FAV z/FAVy keys to cycle through your favorite channels only, skipping over channels you do not usually watch.

You can program up to 12 of your favorite channels into the favorite channel memory.

To program a channel into the favorite channel memory:

1.Tune the TV to a channel you want to program as a favorite channel.

Note: The TV must be in “CABLE” mode to program a cable channel and in “TV mode” to program an antenna channel. Select TV/CABLE in the SET UP menu.

2.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the SET UP menu appears.

3.Press y or z to highlight FAVORITE CH, and then press • to open the FAVORITE CH menu.

4.Press x or • to highlight SET, press z, and then press EXIT.

To select your favorite channels:

Press FAV z or FAVy on the remote control.

Note: You can still use CH yz to cycle through the channels you programmed into the “regular” channel memory on page 19.

To clear a channel from the favorite channel memory:

1.Tune the TV to a channel you want to clear from the favorite channel memory.

2.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the SET UP menu appears.

3.Press y or z to highlight FAVORITE CH, and then press • to open the FAVORITE CH menu.
