Factory setting is 4:3 . You can choose Letterbox for a “w ide -screen” picture w ith black bars top and bottom , or Pan S can, for a full-height picture w ith the sides trimm ed . If the disc has pan Scan, the picture then m oves (scans) horizontally to keep the m ain action on the screen.
