Loading the Batteries into the Infrared Rem ote Control (F igure 5)

O pen the battery compartm ent cover and insert tw o “A AA ” (R 03) batteries as indicated inside the battery com partment. N ote polarity. C lose the cover.

CAUTIO N: DO NOT M IX OLD AN D NEW BATT ERIES . NEVER M IX DIFFERENT TYPES OF BATT ERIES (STANDARD, ALK ALINE, AN D SO ON).

OPERATIO N NOTE: U nless otherw ise m entioned, all operations can be directly carried out w ith the rem ote control. A lw ays point the remote control directly at the D VD player, m aking sure there are no obstructions in the path of the infrared beam . W hen there are corresponding keys on the front panel, they can be used also .

1)OSD: (O n S creen D isplay) This button turns the on screen display on and off.

2)ANG LE: If the D V D disc contains sequences recorded from different camera angles, pressing this button causes the angle icon to appear and show you the number of camera angles available and allow s you to change the angle if you w ish .

3)SUBTITL E: This button controls the language selector and allow s you to choose w hether subtitles are able to be view ed or not.

4)	AUDIO : This button allow s you to select the language	Figure 5
	you prefer from the m enu.
5)	0-9:These num eric keys allow you to directly enter
	the highlighted m enu chapter, or track selection .
6)	T-C:This button is the m ode selector for the Title /

Chapter.

7)M ENU: P ressing this button w ill enable the user to select the D VD defined m enu .

8)OK : U se this button to acknow ledge the highlighted m enu selection .

9) : U se this icon to navigate through the menu selections . In play m ode w ill also pause play.

10) : U se this icon to navigate the m enu selections. In play m ode this button w ill also fast reverse .

11) : U se this icon to navigate the m enu selections . In play m ode this button w ill also fast forw ard 4X .

12): U se this button to navigate the m enu selections.

In play m ode this button w ill also allow the D V D play

obe view ed in slow motion .

13):P ressing this button w ill select the previous chapter.

14 ) : Pressing this button w ill select the next chapter.

15) : Pressing this button w ill pause the D VD play. Pressing pause again w ill step through the sequence fram e by fram e .
