Digital output
Here the format for the digital audio output of the SADV 1245 R can be chosen. Please select the format thatcomplieswithyoursurrounddecoder/receiver
Off Thedigitalaudiooutputisswitchedoff
PCM only Select this setting if your receiver / amplifier can only handle digital 2channel signals. Multi channel formats (Dolby Digital, dts, etc.) are outputasa2channelstereodownmix.
All Recommendedsettingincombinationwitha surrounddecoderorreceiver.
Choose this setting if a multichannel decoder is connected to the digital output of the SADV 1245 R.Multichannelrecordingsareoutput asadigitalmultichanneldatastreamthatcanbe decoded by the attached surround decoder / receiver.

SACD direct
ON The bass managenment function (see Menu 'Speakers')isswitchedoff(bypassed)forSACD playback.
Note:
InthisoperationmodeallSACDaudiosignalsare passedtothespeakersexactlyastheyarestored on the disc. Low frequency signals are not redirectedtoasubwooferortothemainspeakers. This setting results in the highest reproduction quality provided the speakers are capable of reproducingfullbandwidthaudiosignals.
Allspeakersofyoursystemmustbecapable offullextendedlowfrequency reproduction. Forsatellitespeakersystemsusethesetting 'OFF'!
Off The low frequency signals of SACD recordings areredirectedtothesubwooferormainchannel speakers.
Note:
Use this setting for all speaker systems with speakers that can not handle low frequency signalsbelow80Hzwithfullpower.
