The ARCAM DV137 DVD-player plays a range of disc types. These disc types include:

DVD-Video (single region, set at factory) DVD-Audio

SACD version 1.3 MPEG2-encoded video files

MPEG4-encoded (DivX) video files (in AVI, MP4, and MP4-Nero formatting CDDA (‘normal’ audio-CDs) including HDCD decoding, CD-R, and CD-RW Video CD, and SVCD

MP2, MP3, WMA, and OGG audio files (some restrictions apply) JPEG image files on CD (Picture CDs) and DVD.

Other disc formats may not play correctly in this player.

DVD-R/RW and CD-R/RW discs (Audio CDs and Video CD/Super VCDs) recorded using a DVD recorder, CD recorder or personal computer are not guaranteed to play in the DV137. Incompatability may be due to a number of possibilities, including the type of disc used and the recording method.
