Extra sound settings (Turbo Sound, Surround, or Auto Volume )

• Turbo Sound

Turbo sound suitably emphasizes both higher and lower bands of sound (and includes other effects).

• Surround

“Surround” converts a monaural sound signal into two identical left and right channels. Once the “Surround” is set to “On” or “Off”, the setting applies to the sound effects such as Standard, Music, Movie and Speech.

• Auto Volume

Each broadcasting station has its own signal conditions, and so it is not easy for you to adjust the volume every time the channel is changed. “Auto volume” lets you automati- cally adjust the volume of the desired channel by lowering the sound output when the modulation signal is high or by raising the sound output when the modulation signal is low.

1

Press the MENU button to display the menu.

Press the CH ▼ button to select the “Sound” menu, then press the VOL + but- ton.

2

Press the CH ▼ button to select “Turbo sound”.

3

Press the VOL + button to select “On”.

Press the MENU button twice to exit

You can set Surround and Auto volume by the same method as is used to set Turbo sound.
