“ TV” = key will affect the TV, even though the remote control is not in TV mode.

• “ VCR” = key will operate the last active VCR or DVD. (“Last active VCR/DVD” is the mode that remains for a minimum of 5 seconds or if a key is pressed in that mode.)

*1 Backlight key is a toggle key and does not send an IR signal.

*2 Volume will affect the TV by default. When the volume is unlocked, all the devices will have their own volume if their ID has

volume data. The AUDIO modes (receiver, CD) will have their own volume if volume lock is set on TV, CBL/SAT, VCR/PVR, or DVD mode. See “Using the volume lock feature” on page 32.
