Enhancing the brilliance of audio playback

(Discs recorded at 48 kHz or less)

Press [RE-MASTER] to select an item.

This feature gives you brighter sound by increasing the high frequency portion of the audio.

Recommended setting

Re-master 1	Pop and rock
Re-master 2	Jazz
Re-master 3	Classical

≥This function is effective for audio from the HDMI terminal or the COAXIAL /OPTICAL terminal only when “Digital Audio Output” is set to “PCM”

(> 29). (However, in this case, audio is output as 2ch from the COAXIAL / OPTICAL terminal.)

1 Press [OPTION].

2 Select an item, then press [OK].

While DIRECT NAVIGATOR screen is displayed

Properties	To display the title properties (recording date,
	etc.)
Chapter	To select the chapter

To Picture	Playing still pictures (> 20)
Folder	To switch to another folder
While playing
Screen	When black bars are shown at the top and
	bottom or left and right sides of the screen,
Aspect
	you can enlarge the image to fill the screen.
Top Menu	To display Top Menu.
Pop-up	To display Pop-up Menu.
Menu
Menu	To display Menu.

≥Depending on the played contents if you perform “Screen Aspect”, there may be not effect.

≥When “TV Aspect” (> 30) is set to “4:3 Pan & Scan” or “4:3 Letterbox”, the “Zoom” effect in “Screen Aspect” is disabled.

≥Depending on the media and contents, displayed items are different.
