General disc playback features

1.Load your chosen disc in the tray, with the playback side down.

2.Start playback using the HOME menu (see page 9).

Buttons	Operations		Discs
OPEN / CLOSE (Z)	Opens or closes the disc tray.		All Discs
x (STOP)	Stops the playback.		All Discs
	The unit records the stopped point, depending on the		BD	DVD	ACD
	disc. “Xx” appears on the screen briefly. Press
			MP3	WMA	AVCHD
	N (PLAY) to resume playback (from the scene point). If
	you press STOP (x) again or unload the disc (“x”
	appears on the screen.), the unit will clear the stopped
	point. (Xx = Resume Stop, x = Complete Stop)
	Notes:
	•	The resume point may be cleared when a button is
		pressed (for example; POWER, OPEN/CLOSE, etc).
	•	On BD-Video discs including BD-J, the resume play
		function does not work.
	•	On BD-ROM interactive title, the unit will be in
		Complete Stop mode if you press STOP once during
		playback.
X (PAUSE)	During playback, press X to pause playback.		All Discs
	Tip: During Audio CD or MP3/WMA playback, press X
	once again to resume playback.
	Press X repeatedly to play Frame-by-Frame.		DVD	BD	AVCHD
. / > (SKIP)	During playback, press . or > to go to the next		All Discs
	chapter/track/file or to return to the beginning of the cur-
	rent chapter/track/file.
	Press . twice briefly to step back to the previous
	chapter/track/file.
m / M (SCAN)	During playback, press SCAN (m or M) repeatedly		All Discs
	to select the required scan speed.
	- DVD, BD, AVCHD: 5 steps,
	- Audio CD, MP3, WMA: 3 steps
	While the playback is paused, press SCAN M repeat-		DVD	BD	AVCHD
	edly to play in slow motion (4 steps, forward only).
REPEAT	During playback, press REPEAT repeatedly to select a		DVD	BD	ACD
	desired repeat mode.		MP3	WMA	AVCHD
	DVD, BD, AVCHD: Chapter/Title/Off
	Audio CD, MP3, WMA: Track/All/Off
	Note:
	If you press > once during Repeat Chapter/Track
	playback, the repeat playback cancels.
A-B	During playback, each press of A-B button to select		DVD	BD	ACD
	point A and point B and repeats a sequence from point A		AVCHD

(Starting point) to point B (End point). To cancel the sequence, press A-B.
