Using an USB Devices

This unit can play the music and photo files con- tained in the USB device.

Insert straight-in until it fits into place.

Removing the USB device

Withdraw the USB device or cable carefully.

Notes:

This unit supports only USB Flash Drive and USB External HDD with FAT16 or FAT32 format.

The USB device can be used for the local storage for enjoying BD-Live discs with Internet

This unit can support up to 4 partitions of the USB device.

Do not extract the USB device during operation (play, etc.).

An USB device which requires additional program installation when you have connected it to a com- puter, is not supported.

USB device: USB device that support USB1.1 and USB2.0.

Music files (MP3/WMA) and photo files (JPEG/PNG) can be played.

For details of operations on each file, refer to rele- vant pages.

Regular back up is recommended to prevent data loss.

If you use a USB extension cable or USB HUB, the USB device may not be recognized.

Some USB device may not work with this unit.

Digital camera and mobile phone are not supported.

USB Port of the unit cannot be connected to PC. The unit cannot be used as a storage device.

Using the USB Device

1.Connect a USB Device.

2.Press HOME on the Remote Control.

3.Select [Music] or [Photo] option then press

ENTER.

4.Select [USB] then press ENTER. MUSIC (or PHOTO) menu will appear. Details for the menu are on pages 30-31.

Using the Home Menu

From the Home Menu screen you can access all the Media for playback and setting of the unit.

1. Press HOME and the Home Menu appears.

2.Use b / B to select the desired option then press ENTER.

[Movie] – Start video media’s playback or displays MOVIE menu.

[Streaming] – Instantly watch some movies & TV episodes streamed from Netflix to your TV. (pages 32-34)

[Photo] – Displays PHOTO menu. (page 31)

[Music] – Displays MUSIC menu. (page 30)

[Setup] – Displays Setup menu. (page 19)

Tip:

If you select the [Photo] or [Music] option when the USB Device is connected and a disc is inserted simultaneously, the menu for selecting a media will appear. Select a media then press ENTER.

Tip:

If “Software Update” appears on the Home Menu, it means there is a software update available via network. To update the unit, press Blue color (D) button. For details, see page 41.

Notes:

The unit will be in stop mode then HOME menu will appear if you press HOME during playback.

If you insert a DVD or an unplayable disc that is formatted as ISO9660 or UDF, the [Photo] or [Music] option can be selected in the HOME menu. But you cannot play it
