To clean the filter:

1.Shut down the projector if turned on and wait

until the fans stop running.

2. Disconnect the projector from any cables.

3.Turn the projector over. Draw the dust filter grill from the bottom side of the projector.

4.Use a small vacuum cleaner (designed for

computers and other office equipment) or use a soft brush (such as a clean artist’s paintbrush) to vacuum or sweep the dust away.

If the dirt is difficult to remove or the filter is broken, you should replace it.

5.Re-install the filter grill securely.

6.Reapply power and turn the projector on.

If the filter grill is not correctly seated in place, you will be reminded by a message displayed on the

screen every three minutes until ENTER on the projector or remote control is pressed.

Please check if the filter is well attached.

The projector will automatically shut down within one minute if there has been no further action taken. Re-install the filter securely, then turn on the power again.

7.Reset the dust filter timer

i. Press MENU to open the OSD menu.

ii.Go to the Advanced Setup > Dust Filter menu and press ENTER.

iii.Highlight Reset Dust Filter Timer and press ENTER.

iv.A warning message displays asking if you want to reset the dust filter timer.

v. Highlight Reset and press ENTER to reset the

WARNING

filter timer to "0".
