CHAP. 3 Installation

3) Camera

Connect cameras to the camera input on rear panel of DVR marked CAMERA IN.

4) Monitor

Connect the video output marked MONITOR to Video-In of Main monitor.

5) Power

Some bigger capacity of Maxtor HDDs need more power than others,

So, You may need to connect 2 adapters, one to MAIN jack and the other to SUB jack.

If you install 2 IBM Hitachi HDDs with any capacity, just connect one adapter to MAIN jack. For details, refer to Adapter Instruction included in the package.

For right operation, Maxtor and IBM Hitachi HDD are recommended.

Before you turn on the Power switch, be sure all necessary devices such as Power adaptor, cameras and Monitor are connected properly to DVR!
