7.1channels of lossless audio that is bit-for-bit identical to the studio master.
DTS: Digital Theater Systems. This is a surround sound system, but it is different from the Dolby Digital. The formats were developed by different companies.
DTS-HD High Resolution Audio: Offers sound quality significantly better than current DVD, providing up to 7.1 channels of audio and secondary audio streams. It is also fully compatible with existing DTS capable home entertainment systems.
