AS A UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL - CODE ENTRY FOR ACCESSORIES

If your remote control will not operate your accessory devices, look up the four-digit code listed by your brand on pages 33 - 35 Read th rough steps 1 - 5 before beginning.

1Press MODE on the remote control

2 Press the VCR RECORD button on the device and release.

3 Press AUTO SOUND on the remote with in 30 seconds, then release.

4 Enter the FOUR-DIGIT REMOTE CO DE NUMBER for your device. The remote is now ready to send command to the unit

5Point the remote at the Device. Press POWER on the remote control to turn the unit On

If this doesn't work the first time, repeat the steps

using another remote code number.

The search method of programming your remote can take as long as 12 mintues to perform so we recommend you use it as a last resort. Read all the steps before beginning.

1Turn On the device you are attempting to program.

Place a VCR Tape or DVD disc into the device.

Press the Play button on the device.

3 Press MODE on the remote control . Choose VCR for programming Video Casette Recorders or ACC for all other accessories.

4Press the VCR RECORD button on the device and the AUTO SOUND button on the

remote control simultaneously and hold them down. As you continue to hold down the buttons, the remote will run through its programmed code list with a command for the VCR or DVD to STOP or PLAY. For Cable Boxes and Satellite Receivers the command will be to CHANGE

5When the STOP command appears release the two buttons. For Cable Boxes and Satellite Receivers, as soon as the Channels changes ONCE IMMEDIATELY release the buttons.
