Digital Closed Caption Controls

any Digital programs are encoded with closed-captioning information. The Digital Closed Caption feature lets Myou display the audio portion of a program as text on the TV screen.

Follow these steps for Digital Mode.

Press CURSOR or to scroll through the SETUP menu until you see Closed Caption highlighted.

Press CURSOR or followed by CURSOR or to highlight CC Preset. Press CURSOR or to select Default or Custom. If Default is selected, all closed caption styles can not be changed. If you want to change the styles, select Custom.

Press CURSOR or to highlight Dig. CC Style. Press CURSOR or to display DIGITAL CC STYLE menu. Within this menu, press CURSOR or to highlight each option and Press CURSOR or to adjust. All the adjustments will be stored as Default.

CCSize - Standard, Large or Small for CC text

CCFont - ScreenSerMn, ScreenSerif, ScreenSanMn,

Screen Sans, Ashley, Floridian or Plate Gothic for CC text

CCOpacity - Flashing, Solid, Transp. or Translu. for CC text

CCColor - White, Black, Red, Green, Blue,Yellow, Magenta, or Cyan for CC text

Bkgrnd Color - White, Black, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Magenta, or Cyan for CC background

Bkgrnd Opacity - Flashing, Solid, Transp. or Translu. for CC background

Edge Effect - None, Raised or Depressed.

Edge Color - White, Black, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Magenta, or Cyan for CC text

NOTE: If Edge Effect is set to None, Edge Color won t take effect.

Press CURSOR or to highlight Dig. CC Type. Press CURSOR or to select one from Service 1, Service 2, Service 3, Service 4, Service 5 and Service 6.

Press CURSOR or to highlight CC Display. Press CURSOR or to select Muted=On, On or Off. When On or Muted=On is selected, Ana. CCType line appears. Then you can select a setting for Analog closed caption (see the previous page).

When finished, press CLEAR button to clear the menu from the TV screen.

HELPFUL HINTS

An alternative way of entering closed caption submenu is by pressing the CC button on the remote control.

Press Ana/Dig button on the remote control to toggle between Digital and Analog Mode.
