Additional playback features

General

DVD's are divided in titles and chapters.

ODuring playback, press O V to go to the next title. If there are several chapters within a title, the next chapter.

OPress N U to return to the start of the current title/chapter.

OPress N U twice to return to the start of the previous title/chapter.

Use the T/C Y (title/chapter) button

-Press T/C Y (title/chapter) and then use A I or B O to select the appropriate title.

Make sure the symbol 'T' (title) is selected in the menu bar.

-Use T/C Y to select chapters within a title. Press T/C Y and use

C M to select the 'C' symbol (chapter).

Now select the appropriate chapter with A I or B O .

Searching on disc [DVD, (S)VCD, CD]

You can search the disc for a recording at 4x, 8x or 32x playback speed. The numbers are for indication of the different speeds only. For certain discs it can be different.

1During playback, press and hold N U (reverse) or O V (forwards) to switch to the search feature.

OYou can switch between the playback speeds using

N U / O V .

Still picture [DVD, (S)VCD, CD]

1During playback, press PAUSE 9 Q to stop playback and display a still picture.

Frame advance via menu bar

-During a still picture press SYSTEM MENU A on the remote control. The menu bar will appear at the top of the screen.

-Select the 'I' symbol using C M or D K and confirm with

B O .

Slow motion [DVD, (S)VCD, CD]

1During playback press PAUSE 9 Q on the remote control. Now hold down N U or O V to switch to slow motion.

OYou can switch between different speeds using N U or

O V .

Slow motion via menu bar

-During playback press PAUSE 9 Q and then SYSTEM MENU A on the remote control. The menu bar will appear at the top of the screen.

2To continue playback, press PLAY G R at your chosen location.

aNo sound

bThe sound is switched off in search mode. This is not a fault in your machine.

-You can now use the D K or C M button to go forwards or backwards one frame at a time.

-If necessary, switch the menu bar off with the SYSTEM MENU A button.

2To continue playback, press PLAY G R .

-Select the 'J' symbol using C M or D K and confirm with

B O .

-You can now use the D K or C M button to select different forward and backward slow motion speeds.

-If necessary, switch the menu bar off with the SYSTEM MENU A button.

2To continue playback, press PLAY G R twice.
