Preparing the remote control for operation

The remote control and its batteries are packed separately in the original DVD recorder packaging. Install the batteries in the remote control before use.

1Take the remote control and the enclosed 2 batteries.

2Open the battery compartment, insert the batteries as shown and close the compartment. Ensure polarity matches symbols on the remote.

The remote control is now ready to use.

Its range is approximately 5 to 10 meters.

'Aim' correctly

Aim the remote control at the DVD recorder and not at the TV.

Using your DVD remote control

with your TV

The multicode remote control controls also the main functions of your TV. To do this, you must first enter a code number that corresponds to the brand of your TV. The setting from the factory is for Philips TV-sets (code 000).

To program the remote control to work with your TV:

1Hold down the STANDBY m 2 button.
