∙Language: Select the language of the installation menu. Options are “ENGLISH”, “FRANCAIS”, and “ESPANOL”.

∙Communication : The Communication menu is required to enable interactive applications. For more information consult the application notes. For stand-alone applications select “OFF”.

∙Channel Install: This sub menu allows setting the number of television channels.

∙Channel Table: Allows selection between Cable and Antenna.

∙Current Ring: This option allows selection of the Channel Ring (from 1 to 4)

∙Configuration: In the Configuration menu, various settings and features of the TV can be adjusted.

∙Communication : SP-SPI is SmartPort communication, SP- I2C is I2C communication from the RJ-12 connector, and HM-LINK is basic Hotel Mode communication where the IR commands are pa ssed directly out of the RJ-12 connector. “OFF ” is used for stand- alone applications.

∙STORE : The right cursor button stores the communication type set.

∙DCM TYPE: GENERIC refers to a US supported DCM. NO SOURCE SWITCH is not supported in the US.
