This menu allows you to select the peripheral equipment you have connected to the external inputs/outputs.

&Select Source in the Setup menu.

éPress the cursor right.

Select the input to which the peripheral equipment is connected.

Press the cursor right again to enter the list of types of peripherals connected to the selected input.

(Select the peripheral equipment with the cursor up/down.

When you select EXT1, EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, DVI, HDMI or Side, a list appears allowing you to identify which type of peripheral equipment is attached to this input.The TV detects the presence of the connected peripheral equipment and the signal is routed appropriately.

Digital Audio

Select Digital Audio In 1 or 2 when the TV expects digital audio for a connected peripheral equipment to come from a Digital audio input.

Make your selection of the source to which the peripheral equipment with digital audio input has been connected.

In addition to accepting audio input via Digital Audio In, the TV can output encoded Dolby Digital audio via the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT connector to an external amplifier or receiver. If your amplifier or receiver has a matching connector for Digital Audio In, you can connect it with a single cable to the TV’s DIGITAL AUDIO OUT.

If a decoder or a descrambler is connected, see p. 24, you can define one or more channel numbers as decoder channel numbers.

&Select Decoder in the Setup menu.

éPress the cursor right to select Channel.

Select the channel number under which you have stored the programme coming from your decoder.

Select Status.

Select the input used to connect your decoder: None, EXT1 or EXT2.

Select None if you do not want the selected channel number being activated as a decoder channel number.

Note: Select EXT2 when the decoder is connected to your EasyLink recorder.
