Replacing the lower pivot shaft.

Start by having one person push the exercise arm assembly forward, raising the top weight above the rest of the weight stack. Next place the selector pin in the 6th hole of the weight stem to keep the top weight elevated, taking tension off of the entire exercise arm assembly. Return the exercise arm assembly to its rest position. With the one person holding the foot rest assembly (24) stationary, have the second person replace the lower pivot shaft (56) with (56a) in the foot rest leg assembly (25) as shown in steps 1 & 2. Wrench tighten bolt.
