2.Place your child in the safety seat so your child’s bottom rests against the back of the safety seat. See diagram 2 on page 38. Determine which pair of harness slots are even with or just below your child’s shoulders .
DO NOT use the upper harness slots if they are above your child’s shoulders. They will not hold a small child securely in a sharp turn, sudden stop or crash.

3.If the harness straps must be adjusted, remove your child from the safety seat and move the handle to the upright carrying position. Then follow the instructions on page 32 or 34, depending on the type of harness your model uses.
