Setting the clock

ON/OFF (Power) Lens cover button

1Lower the lens cover.

The camera is turned on. The power lamp lights up only when the camera starts up.

You can also turn on the camera by pressing the ON/OFF (Power) button.

It may take time for the power to turn on and allow operation.

2Select a desired language.

3Select the desired area following the instructions on the screen, then touch [NEXT].

4Set [Daylight Savings] or [Summer Time], [Date & Time Format] and [Date & Time], then touch [NEXT].

• Midnight is indicated as 12:00 AM, and noon as 12:00 PM.

5Touch [OK].

6Select the desired display color and [GPS setting] (DSC-TX100V), following the instructions on the screen, then touch [OK].

The battery pack will run out quickly if you set [GPS setting] to [On]. (DSC-TX100V only)

7When an [In-Camera Guide] introductory message is

appeared on the screen, touch [OK].
