How to use digital zoom:
1.Press 
toward ( 
) to zoom into the subject.
2.Press 
toward the ( 
) to zoom out or return to normal mode.
•The digital zoom bar displayed on the LCD monitor will indicate the change and the scale of magnification.
Photography Hints -
Hold your camera steady while using Digital Zoom to prevent blurriness in the photograph due to camera movement. It is recommended to either place your camera on a steady surface or use a tripod. Also, please note that the image quality may degrade slightly with digital zoom.
Note: The digital zoom can only be monitored with the LCD and not through the optical viewfinder.
