3.8 Using Different Metering Options

There are 3 different light metering options available on your camera. Auto Metering automatically selects the best exposure for you, Multi Metering selects an exposure based on readings from multiple points in the subject area and Spot Metering selects an exposure based on a single reading taken from the center of your picture.

1.Turn the camera on and make sure it is in Photo mode.

2.Press the MENU button.

3.Use the UP or DOWN buttons to select the Metering option.

4.Use the LEFT or RIGHT buttons to select an option from the list.

5.Press the SET button to save your selection and leave the Metering submenu.

Adjust the white balance to match different light sources such as sunlight, incandescent (tungsten) lighting or, fluorescent lighting.

Turn the camera on and make sure it is in Photo or
