Taking Time-lapse Movie Pictures (Fast Fwd Movie)

This mode lets you take movie pictures at a delayed frame rate so that when you play the movie back, the action appears speeded up. This function is useful for recording a blooming flowers, etc.

Shooting in Fast Forward Movie mode starts.

• Off (1) is the normal setting for movie pictures (12 frames

memo per second). Each time 2 or 5 is selected, the number of

frames taken per second is reduced to 1/2 or 1/5.

As movie pictures are normally played back at the rate of 12 frames per second, movies taken at 2 are played back twice as fast and movies taken at 5 are played back five times as fast.
