•Noise reduction

This function reduces noise in the picture during high sensitivity operation. Factory setting is ON.

Noise reduction can be set during the MANUAL or AUTO sensitivity mode.

At the sensitivity select menu, MANUAL or AUTO. Press the up (down) button to flash NR, then press the left (right) button to select ON/OFF. Finally, press the Set button.

Note: Even when set to ON, noise reduction does not operate when the sensitivity is not boosted ( 2 or greater).

Residual images can occur with fast moving objects. If objectionable, set NR to OFF.

•Electronic zoom

The image stored by an internal video memory can be magnified up to 4 without using a zoom lens.

The magnified image center can also be shifted left and right (PAN) and up and down (TILT) to allow enlarging a desired location.

Note: Image resolution declines as the electronic zoom magnification increases.

ELE-ZOOM

Set the cursor to ELE-ZOOM and press the right direction button (TELE flashes). Hold the button depressed to zoom the image up to 4 times magnification.

Press the left direction button (WIDE flashes). Hold the button depressed to unzoom the image.

If PAN and TILT have been set, the image center automatically returns to the screen center by zoom operation. Press the Set button to set and shift the cursor to PAN.

PAN (shift zoom center horizontally)

Set the cursor to PAN and press the right button (RIGHT flashes). Hold the button depressed to shift the image center toward the right.
