Setting the speaker impedance

Caution

If you are to use 6 ohm speakers, set “SP IMP.” to “6MIN” as follows BEFORE using this unit.

1Press A STANDBY/ON on the front panel to set this unit to the standby mode.

Refer to the right column for details.

2Press and hold K TONE CONTROL and then press A STANDBY/ON to turn on this

unit.

This unit turns on, and the advanced setup menu appears in the front panel display.

this unit to the standby mode.

In the standby mode, this unit consumes a small amount of power in order to receive infrared signals from the remote control.

PREPARATION

3Press L PROGRAM l / h to select “SP

IMP.”.

“SP IMP.” and the current speaker impedance setting (“8MIN”) appear in the front panel display.

4Press M STRAIGHT repeatedly to select “6MIN”.

5Press A STANDBY/ON to save the new setting and turn off this unit.

Note

The setting you made is reflected next time you turn on this unit.
