Setting Video Out

Video Out matches the camera’s video signal to the standard for your location. Video Out must be set correctly to run a slide show on a television or other external device (see page 41).

1Press the Menu button.

2Press to highlight Setup , then press the OK button.

3Press to highlight Video Out , then press the OK button.

4Press to highlight an option: NTSC—used in most countries except those in Europe and China. The United States and Japan use NTSC.

PAL—used in Europe and China.

5Press the OK button to accept the change.

6Press the Menu button to exit the menu. This setting remains until you change it.

Selecting a Language

You can display menus and screen messages in different languages.

1Press the Menu button.

2Press to highlight Setup , then press the OK button.

3Press to highlight Language , then press the OK button.

4Press to highlight an option, then press the OK button.

5Press the Menu button to exit the menu.

Text is displayed in the selected language. This setting remains until you change it.
