To insert the memory card, perform the following steps:

1.Open the memory card door on the side of the camera.

2.Hold the memory card with the connecting end pointed at the camera.

3.Push the card all the way into the card slot and close the card door.

To turn the camera on or off, press the power button on the top of the camera. The green ready light (on the back of the camera) and the status display screen turn on or off.

NOTE: If the camera is turned off while a picture is being processed, the camera finishes processing the picture before turning off.

If your camera is idle for approximately 5 minutes, it automatically turns off. To turn the camera on again, press the camera’s power button.
