After initially inserting a memory card and charging the battery, the menu language and the camera’s clock and calendar must be set on the setup menu.

The four-way keys of the controller move the cursor and change settings. Pressing the menu button sets selec- tions.

Use the up/down keys to select the language.

Press the menu button to continue. A confirmation screen will open.

Use the left/right keys to select “Yes.” “No” will return to the previous screen.

Press the menu button to continue.

Use the up/down keys to select the option to be changed. Use the left/right keys to change the option. The last option sets the date format among year/month/day, day/month/year, and month/day/year.

Press the menu button to complete the operation.
