Recording Date and Time (or Date) on Your Tape

The time and date (or date only) can be recorded on your tape. Whenever one of the displays appears in the viewfinder, it will be recorded.

The camcorder has an auto-date feature that will record the date only for approximately ten seconds when you begin recording.

Charging the Camcorder’s Built-in Clock Battery

The camcorder has a built-in rechargeable clock battery.

This battery must be charged approximately every two months.

1.Attach a power supply (adapter/ charger or charged battery) to the camcorder.

2.Make sure POWER is in OFF.

3.Leave the power supply attached at least 24 hours.

Cautions: If this battery is not charged every two months, it will over-discharge and shorten its useful life.

Do not attempt to replace this battery. Take the camcorder to an authorized Servicenter.
