ABOUT BATTERIES --------------

New batteries

Continuous use

Batteries are drained much more quickly by continu- ous use than by intermittent use.

Storage

Store batteries in a cool, dry place below 20°C (68°F).

Battery brand

Do not mix battery brands or model numbers, or new and old batteries.

Disposal

Do not dispose of batteries by burning, and never dis- assemble batteries.

NiCd batteries

In comparison with 'regular batteries, NiCd batteries provide faster recycling time and better efficiency at low temperatures.

Before charging NiCd batteries, thoroughly read in- structions for batteries and battery charger.

'Batteries with a "+ " terminal that exceeds 6mm in diame- ter cannot be used.
