Q:Noisy images occur. What can I do to fix this?
A1: The video images might be noisy if the HNC300/HNC320G is used in a very low light environment. To resolve this issue, place the camera in a location with better lighting.
(For the HNC320G only) A2: There might be wireless transmission interference. Make sure there are no other wireless devices on the network that will affect the wireless transmission.
Q:The image quality is poor. How can I improve the image?
A1: A probable cause might be that the display properties are configured incorrectly on your desktop. You need to open the Display Properties on your desktop and configure your display to show at least 65,000 colors (i.e., at least

Applying only 16 or 256 colors on your computer will produce dithering artifacts in the image.
A2: The configuration of the HNC300/HNC320G image display is incorrect. Through the Web Configuration Image section, you need to adjust the image related parameters such as brightness, contrast, hue and light frequency. Please refer to the Web Configuration section for detail information.
Q:There are no images available through the web browser.
A:The ActiveX control might be disabled. If you are viewing the images from Internet Explorer make sure ActiveX has been enabled in the Internet Options menu. Alternatively, you can use the Java Applet for viewing the required images.
D. Upgrade Firmware
Users can upgrade the firmware via the IPView SE application. Select Camera>Properties and the Camera Property dialog box will appear. Select the Tools tab and enter the full path of the firmware binary file name in the Update Firmware field, or click on the “Browse” button to select the file. Once the firmware file is entered, click on the “Update” button to proceed with the updating process. Once completed, click on the “OK” button, as illustrated below.
Warning: During the firmware update process, please make sure no interruptions occur as this could cause serious damage to the HNC300/HNC320G.
