For best results, use batteries of the following types:

Battery life can be greatly extended by using the view- finder (not the LCD) to frame images and the optional

Agfa AC adapter to power the camera.

To install the batteries:

Slide the Mode switch to OFF.

Push the button on the battery compartment door and slide the door towards the front of the camera to open it.

Insert the four batteries as shown in the battery compartment.

Close the battery compartment door.

Battery Conditions

The battery icon is displayed on the Status Display and, when you press , on the color LCD. Segments disappear as power is used. When only an outline displays, replace the batteries as soon as pos- sible. A flashing icon indicates that the batteries are empty. You can- not use the camera until you replace the batteries.
