LCD ON/OFF Switch

When you want to use the color LCD as a viewfinder in REC mode, slide the LCD ON/OFF button to ON.

Shutter Button

The shutter button has two positions. Press the shutter button:

Halfway — to lock the camera’s focus and calculate the exposure.

All the way — to take a picture.

The camera sets the auto focus and calculates exposure, so there may be a slight delay before the picture is taken.

Information Button

Press repeatedly to display information on the color LCD. In REC and PLAY mode, it displays the current data and time, and the bat- tery status.

In REC mode, the LCD also displays:

total pictures taken (e.g., 2 )

pictures remaining (e.g., 34 ) In PLAY mode, the LCD also displays:

number of the image and total pictures stored (e.g., 5/ 14)

title of picture (e.g., AGF00005)

resolution and flash setting
